Designer Purse Bingo!!  November 8, 2012 The Designer Purse Bingo fundraising event will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012! Doors open at 6, games start at 7. Tickets are $35 in advance at KWED, Keepers, Gift & Gourmet, and ZDT. Editorial: County needs plan, timeline for courthouse’s future

I’m not picking a fight, I’m just asking the question: is there a plan?

I guess I need to update the Guadalupe County Courthouse post.  Commissioners never suggested that they would never renovate the courthouse, they just don’t have the money for it now.  That’s not their fault.  Again, let me say I understand that.  My concern, and the response I get from many others, is you can’t just let that building sit essentially unused without a clear plan for how and when you are going to repair it.  Just saying you’re going to repair it whenever you have the money is not a plan. At least, can we talk about starting the process with the Texas…

I want to make sure everybody gets what’s happening. The Guadalupe County Courthouse — easily the most recognizable landmark in Seguin (and Guadalupe County) — could soon be vacant, closed, empty. Whatever you want to call it, I don’t see that as a good thing for Seguin — unless there is a clear plan and timetable for when renovations will be done to the courthouse.
